Ever since I was a little kid I've been into bikes. I currently own two bikes.
The first bike I bought was a 2001 Yamaha DT 230. I bought it in April of 2003 and it never missed a beat. I am in the process of getting a tuned expansion chamber and new muffler to get that little extra out of the two-stroke powerplant. It doesnt get used as much as I'd like to but it's there and bugger me is it willing. When I used to ride it to work, it would easily drag off your run of the mill four bangers and on occasion the odd six pot Ford Falcons.
The second bike is a 2003 Hyosung Comet GT250. I purchased this right off the showroom floor late November 2003. I really wanted a bike to do some serious touring on over Christmas and a trail bike is no good on the old arse for anything over 20km. This is one of the fastest production 250's on the market at the moment and with the sports pipe I had fitted it easily creams most cars off the line. I spent 3 days over christmas riding through the Victorian high country, clocked up a good 1800km and the bike never even looked like packing it in.
It now has a little over 5600km on it and its still going strong.
