I'm looking for a wheel for under 50 dollars , I am thinking Thrustmaster 5 in 1 universal challenge .
Suggestions welcome ( even a second hand wheel will do :) )

Edit : I need a stand to any suggestions for how to play without a stand

Second hand DFGT wheel, I see you are from Bangalore, so I don't know how your country is familiar with websites like craigslist, ebay etc etc.

Thrustmaster budget wheels have a small steering lock, very annoying to race with. And for a stand I will suggest to go DIY. Make something out of wood, pvc pipes or maybe an old office desk or fitness kind of thing? Thewayiplay.com has hundreds of examples for you !

We're familiar with eBay and ( don't know if you are familiar with this ) flipkart .
Anyways thanks ! :)

Good wheel and 50 dollars really don't go together well, but a DFGT second hand should be around that price. The wheel is very good but the pedals leave alot to be desired. Still way better then using a controller.

the wheel you've posted has the size of a DVD disc . as posted above , look out for a used dfgt . its a great starter wheel .
all others are just crap , crap for 3 year old kids . just my oppinion

Keep a watch on amazon, prices are high now, but they'll go down.
Im not so sure about that. If you go on the Logitech website you can no longer purchase the DFGT. Its not even listed in the controller section. My guess is the DFGT is discontinued with Logitech leaving the console market. Who knows though they may rerelease it without the PS or GT badges. So for now the price is likely to stay the same or maybe even rise.

Everyone favours the dfgt but I found an awesome wheel only problem is that I don't know if it works can anybody help

That will work. And 40 dollars is a steal.

Although with 2 days left that outta get up into the 100.00 dollar range or more. Also that looks like it doesnt come with pedals.

It's still the same price anybody know where to get pedals for that wheel

No no I heard that you could connect g25 , g25 pedals for that wheel
Edit - I invite other people to ask their questions on "budget wheels "

Then again... hard to find a G25 or g27 pedal set alone. It isn't cheap and for the total price, cheap second hand wheel, porsche or dfgt + pedals, it's better to look for a steering wheel for around $ 130.

Bet I can make a profit :sly:
The advert says it works and looks fine , used only for one week with iRacing .

( thanks everybody ! ) . I need a stand now , any suggestions ? Here's one to start of with -
Any body know where to get the chairs ?

Scrapyard !! I don't know how populair the Smart ForTwo was in your country, but those chairs from the Smart are perfect for simracing. Light, comfy and good looking chairs for your sim.

I get a sporty chair from a vw polo from my neighbour for free, so it's a no-brainer for me. :)

That's a steal. Almost to good to be truth... It's fishy. I won't buy it. Every where I look there are prices up to $ 200,- for a second hand set of the Logitech G27. And thern the sellers are honest and telling if there's something to know about. I think you will get a disfunctional set. Maybe I'm wrong, but the risc is too high.

that's bid sale, now its 51 pounds sterling
and you dont have to worry about malfunction with G27, Logitech have great after sale service
its definitely better wheel in every aspect than DFGT
you will get clutch pedal and better pedals overall, H-shifter.
you wont go faster with high-end premium wheel but better pedals do
if you play serious sim racing games or looking for realism, G27 looks to be a great deal to start

There is still 6 days left on that auction. It will be up to normal price by the end.

advice for OP:
save money from now because when you will get ur DFGT or any similar wheel from basic model
it will be tempting to upgrade wheel lol
i started with DFGT and now i have CSW (between: G27 and GT3rs)
