Any news of future updates to add Toyotas?

I know we just got one but I find the lack of Toyotas disturbing. I mean I love the IS F, and the Daihatsus are ok, but I need some more! What happened to the GT4 in the demo? I would also like a Soarer(Lexus) and the 7th gen Celica, and the 4th gen Supra.
 
You do realise that this is only a prologue and that there is a full game coming out later that'll have loads of Toyotas in, don't you?
 
LOL +1 for daan. You can't expect anything with prologue, as it is only prologue. Once the final game comes out then you can start complaining what toyotas they missed.
 
I'm pretty sure there will be another update somewhere along the line to add a few more cars: whether that will include any new manufacturers I doubt quite frankly. I'm quite happy with the game as it is though. Aside from the "need for speed" tactics online (which hopefully can be dealt with) I think it's good for a "demo" as some people refer to it rather unfairly, as there is a fair chunk of game material in it.

The Lexus ISF is actually here to represent Toyota (Toyota is credited for it). This is the Toyota racing car for Super GT (GT500) replacing the Supra, so we have their "top line" car.

Next update (coming April 17) will add Peugeot and RE Amemiya...

Korean release will add... well who knows? :)

You'll have to use the old GT HD Concept until then.
 
Yeah, they do need Toyota, Prologue or not! I was absolutely gutted to find out that I could not purchase or race the Sprinter Trueno GT Apex - the first time in any Gran Turismo game where you could buy cars. Thanks to PD they have also broke a personal ritual that has been with me since the original game almost 12 years ago...

The first car I always purchase is the Sprinter Trueno GT Apex. The colours may change, some times its the red and black one, other times its the white and black one, but always when I start its the Sprinter Trueno. Not having it present, feels like an old friend is missing! :'(
 
i'm sure they'll bring it back at some point. like they said, this Is Just a prologue my friend. i'm missing my datsun 510 too and my old 240ZG. if anything i hope they retain the Integra Type R DC2 and hopefully, and i wish this a lot, that they bring back the old nissan primera.
 
The only Toyota i would have liked to have in the Gt5:P garage is the Supra.

Prologue or not, I want cars that my family has (all I listed except the GT4). Besides, I'm pretty sure GT5 will have Nissans outnumber all of the other manufacturers with their vehicles like in the past.

I was wondering why they didn't add it. I think it's overrated, but it does deserve a spot in this game.
 
I wonder what will happen on the release of prologue in the US (as in game update or something similar :))

its still outrageous that there isnt any toyota's in the game, the best selling car brand in the world. any year of mr2, celica, tuerneo or supra was expected.

I don't want them to put trueno in prologue because it will ruin the experience I will get when I first play gt5. It will be very special....
