Because it used to be a very important part of the game, a place where people would meet and swap parts, be totally immersed the motoring experience. Where you could talk on your headsets with other car enthusiasts about car setup and technique and get to drive with the best drivers in the world, that's why
now that the game is actually out and people have had the opportunity to play it, how do the cars drift? In particular, making reference to the D1 cars (which i hope there are more than 3 of!)
nice nice... but 2 much talking about doesnt help us. Because no one from this thread have the game. So we cant ask someone. My GT4 have to come this days...
Anyway i would say it doesnt have a drift mode. thats ok for me.
But i hope the physic's of the D1 cars are like in real. (Drift settings) and not Grip.
And maybe if we buy the right parts for every other FR car with the right LSD and settings we can drift a bit
(D1 Fans) as you recognize they put Taniguchi's S15 and Nomuken's ER34 (Blitz/Uras) Skyline
i actually hope its in cause im curious exactly how they set up the judging in gt4 and if they would actually have 1 v 1 battles.

SO, does anybody with the Japanese version know of a drift mode in GT4? No harm done if there isn't a mode because the physics are there just like how GT3.
I don't think it really matters whether or not a drifting "mode" is in. I was hoping that difting would be recognized in a GT game and it has been with the addition of the d1 cars. I would like to see that open parking lot thing available, with the ability to set up the cones the way you want them.
completion in gt1 we got hi-res mode
gt2: event generator
gt3: f1 car
gt4: drift mode perhaps (im more inclined to say "competitions" as its not really a "mode")???
I think its easyer to drift in GT4 than in ''Prologue'' cause in GT4 you can do the driftsetups like in gt3. I hope you can buy sim tyres to and if its realistic you can watch the Best Motoring - Drift Bible you can learn much from that! 👍
