so they put a boat car in the game but do they give you a place to put it in the water?

I have found a few tracks with water and what looks like openings to get to it but when I try to drive through there is an invisible force field stopping my car.

Do you have to be driving the boat car to get through or is it just not possible?

You have to aim for the water and accelerate to 88mph in the boat car, and it'll break the barriers and float like nobodys business.

Everyone knows that the only way to unlock the water features on the tracks is to buy 2 FGT in the Online Dealership, then perform engine rebuilds and chassis maintenance.

/They have to be different colored FGTs.

They also put pickup trucks in the game and there's no where for me to buy anything, stick it in the back and drive home...

Tsuk, GT5...what a waste...

The Schwimmwagen is a perfect example for the questionable choices in car selection that were made by Polyphony Digital however. While I understand the historic value of the car as such, there is little point in driving it. And since there is no place to use it in the water, there should be no place for it in GT5 either.

... unless GT5 is more of a car museum than a driving simulation. Some people say it is, and the Schwimmwagen might be a hint.

No you guys got it all wrong. You must complete the 24 hour race in a Midget(it has to be yellow, and stock) Then after you beat the race you must stand on your head and beat the Vettel challenge with one eye shut. Then sell your Midget and you will get a pop-up screen that unlocks the super secret map called, "Mighty Japan, Sparkle Blue Ocean!" And then you can drive your Schwimmwagen anywhere.
