I used to play the card game, and I played the original computer game for a while. That's really more of a social game - it's the way it was designed. I haven't played the current computer game, but I would imagine it doesn't have the same feeling as the card game did.
There was an application that was used to play the card game on the computer. I think it was called something like Aprentice and was basically a digital playing table with a full library of cards. Very cool.
