I use Rhinoceros 4.0 for 3D modeling on my computer. I started using it 2 1/2 years ago when I took a class for it in highschool. For the most part I render in Flamingo Nxt (I think it has a different name now) and in the past I have rendered with Flamingo Raytrace 2.0. Here is some of my best work:
I currently decided to get back into 3D as I used to use 3DS and Maya but stopped about 5 years ago and havent picked up any software since. I downloaded Blender the opensource 3D package and watched a few tutorials to get me started again. I need to get used to it.
Quiet a few of my friends suggest using 3DS or Maya as this is the industry standard but it can be quite expensive.
Which is just to get you used to their product over others so your looking at a $5000 bill for the full licensed version afterwards... It's a brilliant strategy really.
Nice work though, I wish I had some sort of artistic talent.
