Any S2000 owners IRL here??

Used to have one couple of years ago.

I find that it is much more forgiving in the game than IRL.

I remember it had good levels of grip but when on the limit it had this snap oversteer tendency which was really terrifying. Can't see that in the game though. It's much sweeter and controllable.

I refer to the early 2.0 ltr (1999-2002) pre facelift models with 16" wheels.

Any advices on setting / tyres / braking for "simulating" the real car?

What tire settings are you using?

Also the car comes default with rear toe in. Put it back to more "realistic" numbers that you would have on your S and you'll find the rear end slides out quite a bit.

I drive an 08 myself.

I believe default tyre settings are CS for all S2000s in the game (I am not talking about Spoons, Amuse etc - just Honda stock stuff).

Isn't CS the appropriate tyre to simulate reality? Should I go for SH?

And what about braking bias/settings?

I believe CS are fine as the sports already start to have a lot of grip.
As far as tuning specs I wouldn't know how to get it to feel exactly like stock as my tune is set up to have mad crazy grip and sharper turn in.

But brakes I would probably say more in the front, maybe 6/4 or even 5/3.
I'm sure you remember how tiny our rear calipers are

I know Honda made some revisions to the '04 and '06 models to make them more forgiving.

Try stiffening up the rear end and see if that makes it more twitchy?

Brake settings for sports cars are like 4/2 or 3/1 something like that.

I have a 05 s2k, Skid pad figures for stock s2k's range from .89g to .92g depending on year, if you go to the tire testing thread:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=160821

You can get a basic idea of what the different tires are giving you for grip (only tested a Camaro and a Vette) but you can see that the S2K should probably have CM on it.

In the s2k I would most definitely say that the front brake is at least twice as strong as the rear brake, so as stated above I would go with something like 4/2.
