Any suggestions to improve my first hybrid?

This is a hybrid suggested to me by one of my friends who is obsessed with Supras. It is a Supra RZ body with silver Supershine. The engine is from a GT-ONE race car. The stage four turbo is straight from the Supra RZ. The chasis is from a DENSO Sard Supra, the brakes are from a ZZII, and most other parts are from the Supra RZ itself. It gets 2,000 HP with no power multiplier and I implemented maximum downforce with T8 tires to make it controllable. I read on Famine's guide that faster cars shouldn't use maximum downforce, but it seemed to be the only way to get this car to stick to the pavement. Any suggestions on how best to make this car (and any car for that matter) handle well? Is there a HP range limit where the car just becomes uncontrollable? Like I said, this is my first so I don't know all the tricks. Thanks in advance. Here is the car:

Maximum downforce is the only way to get the car to stick to the pavement???

On my car 1/1.25 was plenty

2,000 Hp maybe 1.75 max d/f
 
I tried 2/3 downforce (which is what Famine's guide recommended as the maximum for faster hybrids). The problem is not really that the car won't stick in turns. It is that the wheels spin like crazy in every gear. It's like a constant peel-out. Any way to stop this by changing gear or other settings?
 
I've been examining it a little more closely, and I think maximum DF is 2.55 - setting it above that starts the whole cycle again - so 2.56 would be 0.

Try 1.2/1.8
 
yea...that would make sense if it is stored as a type of variable that only goes from 0 to 255. but i thougt putting in 0 gives u the max downforce available, which is: 42949672.95...or (2^32 - 1)/100.

either way, how can i get the wheels to stop spinning!:)
 
You can enter almost any number for the hp multiplier - but the peak is 65.535. Go over that and it resets to zero (66.535 = 1.000 = shouldn't have bothered).

If yet to test the DF theory out. The only thing I can think of is to alter the rear DF only and try a max speed test - in theory if the DF is over the "limit" it should allow a higher maximum speed... :D Yet to actually give it a whirl yet though...

Try setting TCS to 2... :D
 
i'll try some tweaking. the car is amazing with max DF anyway so i will probably just leave it. i assume having max DF reduces top speed though? i seem to be trapped below 260mph despite having 2000 HP. that is not a big deal at all because the car can out-handle anything faster than it. (and there aren't many cars in that category)
 
I'm sorry for the confusion: the hybrid in the video has maximum downforce (0 value in the .ini file). with this, it is fine. if i turned this to like 1.5/2 or 2/3 the tires are in like a contant peel-out.

You need stickier tires. Go for F1 Tires. Then get the car closer to the ground, and stifin the springs, and set the DF to 2.50 Front / 2.55 Rear

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Any suggestions for the brakes? Right now they are ZZII brakes. I was thinking...Zonda C12S:lol: :lol: :lol: .
