This car just popped up in my UCD and I've got just about enough credits to buy it, I like a Group C/LM car and have the Minolta and Furai so far, I've been grinding away at the Indy event for the past couple of evenings and have done the high-earning Special Events while the other half creeps off to bed, so my money is precious. My favourites are the Sauber C9, Mazda 787B and Silk-Cut Jaguar, the Sauber and Jag both came and went as I didn't have enough money for either, so I don't expect them to turn up again any time soon.

Does anyone out there rate the BMW or is it a waste of my hard-earned credits? Or do I just wait for the Mazda?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

Buy the beemer and watch your PS3 for a friend request. I'll send you a 787B :)

Please for the love of god, don't any of you guys send me PM's for free cars :)

The Mazda 787B is available as a premium car in the dealership.

Though it's very expensive, 5.6 million I believe.

BUT, you can buy that whenever you want.

As for the BMW - sorry I don't have it.

Hmmm...sounds like the BMW might be worth buying then...any idea how it compares to other Group C/LM cars in terms of handling?

I have them all and in terms of driving think that the V12 LMR is pretty poor compared to other Group C cars. The R92CP or R89C are probably the best if you are looking for a group C car since the R92 has over 1000 BHP

I used to love those 2 Nissans in GT4, then I loaded it up a while ago and found them tough to handle, probably needed a good tune i guess

Theres one in my UCD right now too.. but i'm about 1M away from having enough cash for it as I just bought a Pescarolo..
I'm waiting until thursday, then i'm gonna do the seasonal that pays the most, probably 1.5M or 2M, and get that car. :D

Ya Pops, I'd love a 787B but I also like the sound of the BMW so might just buy it anyway, I just had a look at your garage link in your sig and you've got the BMW already, amongst a fair few other, so I'm not sure I've got anything to trade with you - are you looking for anything in particular?

Mate you are a genuine legend! Both those cars are proper old favourites of mine, if there's anything you can think of that you need then let me know, I'll see if I've got one and if not will happily look out for them for you. My little one and missus have just gone to bed so I'm going to quietly log onto my PS3 now :) :)

No worries mate, I'm always down to help out my fellow Londoners :D

Expect a couple of requests from strangely named PSN accounts in a minute:lol:

Honestly that has made my day/night whatever it is at this time, I've had a look through and you don't seem to have an E-Type Jag. I bought one recently but haven't done anything to it as yet, how about that as a thank you?

Nice one dude, I'm going to have to hit the sack soon - my alarm is set for 6:45 :scared:

If you fancy some clean racing at some point in the future hit me up if I'm online, I'm getting pretty bored of grinding that Indy race - 20 left turns every 4 minutes just isn't doing it for me any more!

That's a bit odd - your main account doesn't show up in my friends list when trying to send you the car. I'll log off and on again, if still no joy is it OK to send to one of your other ones?

I think the BMW is one of the better handling LMP's. It's pretty stable and the power band is pretty usable. I say buy it
