Any tips for the Alsace Endurance Race?

I’m having a real struggle with this challenge mission. These cars just drive like total ass on a rollercoaster track like Alsace and I can’t find a good setup to make them bearable. I have plenty of cars within the category but I can’t find anyone that works for me. The AI is also extra careless because of how sluggish the cars handle and thus the margin of error is much smaller.

If anyone knows a good car to make it a fair competition or something to completely cheese it I’m game.

I used the alpine rave car from the legendary dealer. With soft tires and fuel on 1. I think I stopped every 20 Minutes but I am not sure anymore. Won with over a Minute to the second car
