i've bought a used logitech gt wheel and everyhing works fine except the rubber feet for the gas and pedals are a little worn and they still off easily. i don't have a carpet so i can't use that other thing. any tricks to make it stick or not move so much?

Just so you know, there's a separate forum for racing wheels & setups right here. Also, I know you're new but you seem to be posting a lot of new threads. Try searching for your answers first before creating a new thread, helps to keep the clutter down. :)👍

buy or build a cockpit. Hard mount the pedals and the rest to it.

I know that's either expensive (buy) or time consuming (build), but they are timeless. There are few computing and gaming related products that don't get obsolete and this is one of them, and allows buying a better wheel or upgrading the whole setup on the future.

This is how I kept my G27 pedals from moving.

Quoted from the AUP:
  • You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

And I'll move the thread to the forum it belongs.

But to answer your question: It doesn't need to be expensive.

Some time ago I went out to Fred Meyer and spent $20 on a wood computer desk (or you could just screw a bunch of boards together and call it perfect) and the center board holds it in place but you'll want to put some masking tape or something on the bottom edge closest to you of the pedals because mine began to groove the wood

You don´t need hardmounting at all wth dfp or G25 pedals. A book or something behind but otherwise there is rubber mats you can get cheap that lets things stay in place when on a hard surface.

This. Have a look on what you have around your house to see what you can put behind it to stop it from moving. Alternatively, you can put the seating position higher or move the pedals slightly closer to you to stop them from moving, because when you push the pedals it would push the pedal set into the floor. Or you could build something for your pedals to rest on that's at an angle.
