I am currently attempting to fix and old 42" LCD TV that was my parents.
The TV will show a random colored screen with lines, black screen.
I also got this
Which changed to this a few seconds later
Which told me it is getting into the TV side of things as it was showing the normal input which then changes to the "No Signal" part
So I unplugged the LVDS cable from the input board(highlighted(also I know it is not ideal to unplug LVDS cables when power is being supplied))
and plugged it back in and I got this
While they have a new TV, If I can get this one working it would make a nice spare TV for the bedroom.
So is the issue the LVDS cable, Input board, Panel Controller
I doubt it is the Tcon or Panel
Obviously not PSU
