Any Way to Delete a Day's Screw-ups?

My 8 year-old son decided after winning several cars and modifying them over the last month that he would sell all of them and buy others. That was this morning after I had gone to work. Now he wants them all back. The question is: Is there any way to delete a day's worth of wrong-doing that is clearly listed in the diary?

Sorry if I sound like a rookie.....that would be 'cause I am. Just a dad trying to fix a son's mistake.
