Any way to use the DFGT while playing Enthusia on PS3?

As the title asks, I can't seem to get it working. When I fire up a PS2 game, the system requires me to re-pair the controller with the game and pressing the button on the wheel does nothing so I'm stuck with the Dualshock in the first controller slot and the wheel in the second.

If worst comes to worse, I guess I could pop it back into my PS2 or something, but I'd rather not have to pull that out.

Wait, DFGT is the new GT5 wheel, right? If so, I just played Enthusia with it last week. I have a 60gb original PS3 with the hardware PS2 emulation though, so that may be a factor.

I was playing Enthusia on my CECHA PS3 a couple of weeks ago as well.

I tried to play the game with my DFGT... handling is just not there and pretty much no FF feedback... so unfortunately, Enthusia will stay on the shelf...
