I have no clue what you mean by this.

He's pointing out it appears the disc is more red at the bottom, which while rotating would be before the friction point from the pads. Whether the entire disc is actually glowing equally all the way around it or not is the other question, which is likely answered by the lighting.

The hottest point of the disc, and therefore most red, would be right after the pads.

Maybe the car was being driven backwards????
Or maybe it was on a reverse rotation track, that could cause heat before the brake pad, I think...
