Anybody else struggling to download update 1.02?

I got GT6 the day it came out and updated to v 1.01 a few days later with no hassle. Then came a lot of family things and i was only able to try updating to v. 1.02 in the new year. I get a download error without fail. Sometimes fairly quickly and sometimes more than halfway into the download.

My connection is a 2 mb/s terrestrial line, not the fastest but it's definitely not cutting out. has anyone struggled with any of the major updates as i have, or have any insight into whether it might be because of heavy traffic on Sony's side?

I had a bit of difficulty. Stopped at random poinst with some number based error code. I reset my router and it got better. But at a later date when it hap paned again I changed my DNS servers in my router and it worked first go

My suggestion is to unplug your modem for 5 minutes. Start it up again. Make sure nothing else is connected to your router. Turn of wifi, connect your ps3 over ether. Try again.

Hi had same issue as you with a 1.5mb broadband line and tried for days to d/l but always dropped out, usually after about 40% d/l. I'm afraid to say only way I got around it was to sign up for BT fibre which fortunately just came available by me at Xmas.
