Sadly, I bought GT5 launch day and hardly touched the photomode until recently and I have been stunned at how pretty you can make pictures in this game. Anyhow, I recently bought a wi-fi photo printer and realized the PS3 has a built-in print function. Well, not more than a few x-button pushes and my GT5 pictures come out nice and vivid via the PS3 print option--Got some picture frames to hang up my beauties :)

Very nice. I always wanted a printer for GT4 photomode so i could use the printing function but now in GT5 the images would come out even better
 
how's it on you printer ink? nice that the pics print out really good but its bound to use good bit of the ink?

But it's somewhat of a show-off to print a picture only using pure gold ink. It must be really expensive ;)

GT4 is backwards compatible on PS3, right? If so it might work for that as well. Only issue is it would need to be able to export the photos to the XMB, which I doubt would work in GT4 but I could be wrong.

That is yet to be determined as I was wondering the same thing. This will largely vary by picture size, quality settings, and the actual printer being used; supposedly my Canon MG5220 prints 5 to 6 hundred 4" x 6" pictures per set of color cartridges, which comes out to about $0.13 per picture (not bad IMO :))

Haha thanks Apex, I better layoff the gold painted cars to save some money :lol:
 
Nice looking image (considering the camera the above image was taken by). That is probably sucking the ink out of your cartridges though lol.
