Anybody got the "Factory Driver" achievement?

Taking me forever, this one. I'm currently at level 39 with Nissan. By my calculations (which I just did very briefly and no doubt incorrectly in my head), I should attain this by completing Class S and Class R3 World Championships. I have 5 races of Class S done so far...

To be fair I've only really decided to put some effort into it this past few weeks, but I'm actually getting sick of Nissans when there's hundreds more cars in the game to drive.
I've even resorted to making the race classes unrestricted and driving a car far superior to my opponents and just hot-lapping to get the races over with :yuck:
 
Honda for me. Took me just over 2 month to get there from when I really started playing Forza 4. And I still drive Honda regularly. My second highest manufacturer affinity isn't even half that, if I remember right.
 
I'm the same - my next highest affinity is 11 with Audi.
I actually only wanted to get to level 25 with Nissan to get the "Nissan Aficionado" badge, but then when I checked through the achievements I found this one.
I was deflated but decided to batter on...
 
Got mine with Ferrari too, guess we all know which whip I push the most! Next up, Lamborghini!!:dopey:
include Lamborghini too. Porsche will be my next target.

Level 39 with Pagani for me only using the Huayra in stock form, at first it felt quite hard to keep under control but now it's second nature. I might try to get Scion up there as well now I've started driving them.
 
I got it with Volvo and BMW a while back.
I pretty much got Volvo with just this one car:

Level 42 with Ford at the moment.

Love my A class XB GT but I'm struggling to find races I want to do that it can compete in.
 
Level 47 now with Nissan. A few more R3 races and I can finally use a different car :D

edit - 49 and a bit. Nearly there.
 
I hadn't really been trying to get there with any one make, but I'm thinking it might be fun to try now.

I wonder how long it would take to get it with Radical only using the N Ring Rival...

Or with Dodge using only the Indy Road and any Drag Racing rivals. Well, that and the Charger I love romping in the Maple Valley Rival too.

Or maybe I should actually go finish the single player campaign first... I'll have to get over my annoyance with the announcer and the AI being vicious snot nosed little punks all the time. But I guess I should get on with finishing that.

What to do... What to do...

What I did, once I got to level 25 and realised there was an achievement for level 50:

Picked a powerful car, In this instance the #12 JGTC Skyline. Changed the "car class restrictions" difficulty to unrestricted, and started off doing the world championships from the events list. I completed D, C, B, A and S (I had already done a few races from each in the course of the World Tour mode).
I took no pleasure from winning these races with my far superior car. In fact the other cars annoyed me by getting in the way of my hot-lapping :D

Finally got Nissan to level 50, changed the difficulty back, and all is well with the world.
 
I am close with Ford, and the Mustang achievement as well. I have been dodging it recently, but I might as well get those out of the way.
 
i know that alot of people here would blow my levels out of the water but here is my progress so far, i drive alot of different cars so i have alot of manufactures at around 15-17 as well
