I've been on iOS for years now, and I'm ready to try something different. The Galaxy Note's form factor really appeals to me, and the Galaxy Note 2 should be unveiled next week, and I'm really thinking of getting one. I hadn't liked earlier versions of Android, but I hear that Ice Cream Sandwich is a huge upgrade, and I'm wondering if anybody's got a Note with ICS installed. Any comments on how you like the phone?

My parents have one, and they told me that it's really good. If you're going to buy this phone then at least from what I've heard there's no need to hesitate to do so 👍 .

I got this phone, and within 2 days had dropped it and smashed the screen: it's just too big to fit comfortably in one hand, and that for me is a big no no for a mobile phone. It sort of uncomfortably bridges the gap between a phone and a tablet, and it's a bit confused as to which it is. Systems and processing speed was impressive though. So was the screen. Until I smashed it.

Well I don't blame you for not liking really big phones because they're more for women who can just slip it into their handbag when they're not using it. To anyone who's considering a Samsung Galaxy Note, I'd say that it's considerably bigger than a conventional phone, probably just a little bit smaller than a Amazon Kindle.

However, if size isn't an issue for you when it comes to phones, then I definetely recommend the Galaxy 👍 .
