I have a marketing assignment due soon and our product is soup in self-heating cans. After some research, i found that Nestle had released coffee in these cans in 2001 with great success. i've been searching google for some time now, and still can't come up with whe prices of these things or the prices of normal coffee cans. If any of you know how much they cost and the price differences and anything else you would be willing to help me out with, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

WTH are self-heating cans? As in they can be heated in their own containers?

yup, you activate it and a chemical reaction heats the can, like those light sticks every idiot got on some concerts but the process creates heat instead of light.

So far I've only found an introductory price of R13, which is some kind of African currency.

awesome...the 13rand=$2.5 Canadian - a buck more than most chunky soups...so that's probably what we'll set our price to.

thanks for the help
