anybody notice how dumb the AI is?

when i was racing the laguna seca endurance, a CLK touring car spun out on the corner before the main straightaway by pit road (and did that about every 3-5 laps ). one time i was behind it and a gillet vertigo and the CLK was in the middle of the road(after it spun out). the last thing i saw was the vertigo going head-on straght into it () when it could've dodged it.

Yeah, it seems that the A.I. has trouble making it save around Laguna Seca.
Every time i race there, one car spins at the corkscrew and another car spins at the tight corner before start/finish. And they do it almost every lap

I have noticed sometimes how they will plow into me when i exit the pits... once on the tahiti maze race in rally the computer cut a turn to close... got stuck and refused to go into reverse... for 2 laps he tried plowing into the corner and turning... eventually i just nocked him out on my 3rd time around the track
