Anybody notice the graphics degradation in weather enabled tracks?

I was messing around with GT5 last night and I decided to take a look at the dynamic weather enabled "High Speed Ring". It appears quite a bit different from the version without the weather. Somewhat blurry and aliasing everywhere. At first I thought I changed the resolution of my monitor while I was adjusting brightess/contrast by accident. It really is of a poorer overall quality when compared to their non-weather couterparts. I checked Sarthe and showed the same loss in quality. They also looked like there was more "bloom" added.

I wasn't sure if what I was seeing was maybe just placebo effect (or if maybe I was up for too long, lol), but after checking a few tracks out they sure do look different (at least in my eyes). If this is true, I am guessing it was done to maintain performance.

Anybody else notice this?
 
I thought the lighting looks much better, especially on the course generator tracks.
There is a atmosheric haze effect which is quite nice IMO, more like real life.

Plus they equalised the general brightness difference bwteen cokpit view and bumper

Hmm, I will have to check that out. I hadn't noticed.
