anybody still using version 1.02

Hey guys. I am deployed to Iraq and still have the original verison of my GT5. is anyone still out there using the original version of GT5? also since i have an earlier version and cant update till i get home, can i trade cars over 1M dollars? or send them to another account of mine?

I believe that you're completely cut off from the Internet you're on an older version.

So you can get online and play the game online? And not be promted with the update screen?

you can't trade without being online, and you can't go online without getting the latest update...sorry dude.

unfortunately my PS3 doesnt not hook up with my limited internet, so i cant get updates until sometime in june. oh well. good thing is at least you all can know at least my cars arent dupes. lol.
thanks for the info. i was think ing of redoing my career, and just giving myself some cars i like, and ingnore the rest of the cars. anyways thx

No, I can´t use online with that version.

No online functions will work with an old version of GT5.

Keep up the good work over there. The sooner Iraq is fixed the better, then more attention can be payed to your comrades in Afganistan.

I have not seen anyone post that they are still using version 1.02 and it seems to be conclusive you cannot play gt5 online without updating.
