Anybody work for a professional racing team?

We all love racing here but does anyone actually work for a team? I do, pretty sure I'm the only one.

You won't be the only one. I worked for a few teams for a bit but settled into a bodyshop currently.

Probably by writing at least a year in advance.

He drives for RJN Motorsports, he gets paid to do so. So yes, he does work for a racing team.

You still haven't bothered to say what you do and who exactly you work for. As far as I know you are just some newbie that likes to brag about things he doesn't own/do. From your profile, you "ship" performance, parts, not really a pro team no matter what team it is.

I have two jobs and I've been shipping for years now, heres a video of us testing, we're the black car in the near lane. We run an 864 cubic inch hemi (roughly 14 L), it's a gasoline guzzling, single cam, pushrod V8 with no power adders. Uses two split 4 barrel carbs also, no fuel injection. Makes 2100 horsepower at about 8100 rpm. As far as tranny goes we run a lenco planetary style, with 5 gears, which are air shifted. A regular transmission would just break because the engine makes too much torque, so we need a lenco which creates a LOT of drag on the engine but it is the only one strong enough to support it.

I'm going there for a week at the end of this month. Basicly last summer we were all planning our work experiance placements, I wanted to go somewhere motosporty ( since I want to go into this area of mechanical engineering). However all f1 teams that advertised work experiance didn't do it when we were, I hadasked some small teams ( f3 teams) but they couldn't give me a place. I then went to our schools careers department to ask if they had any contacts, they gave the number of this guy at force India and I then phoned him and got the place straight away.
I then got sent a leaflet explaining the program and what I will be doing (unbuilding and rebuilding their f1 cars).


All together looking like it should be a pretty good week. (28th mar - 1st April)
