Anyone drifting up Xlink Kai? (Online GT4)

A few weeks ago I read about this program named Xlink Kai which makes GT4 playable on the internet. I checked in to it further and what it does is....

"XLink Kai is a program that you run on your PC or Macintosh that allows you to play system-link / LAN-enabled games for your XBox, Playstation 2, Gamecube and PSP.

The software is referred to as what is known as a 'tunnelling' application. There are various other single-console tunnelling applications available, but XLink remains the only one to support all 3 major consoles..."

Anyway, I'm not sure if everyone has seen/heard about this application so I thought I would introduce it to the drifting section.

So please DL it and try it out, I REALLY want to see drifting online...

Ps. If you have problems... your on your own. I'm not a master at this at all, and truthfully this program is a pain in the ass... but it works. =)
 
It works good and is fun ,have nt tried drifting yet online but ill think anout it after i try drifting in gt4 and get used to the physics but its laggy with more than 2 players and almost undriveable due to the lag.

That's the bummer.

Everybody has been playing with only 2 people..
 
It sounded like a good idea right away, but as time goes on I hear more about it lagging, and that you can use certain cars. I might give it a try next weekend though.
 
yea its alright and sometimes there is almost no lag but its a pain to get it working if you dont know how to and especially when people join your room and ask you how to use xlink i just direct them to mortici's guide

that's really cool is there like an option where you can watch other peoples races or whatever? cause if so, then we can have live drift battles or drift shows for people....i really want to see some twin drifting and parallel drifting online
 
ya same, just ordered my network adaptor.

Hmmm only 2 people per race? what if they were all from the same country? like UK, would it still lagg when theres more than 2 people?
 
I don't have time to document everything since I've been drifting with two other GTP members online for 4 hours and its getting late, but I will say that, its been one the the best gt times I've had. Replays were great, just I couldn't capture any this night, but I plan on getting some nice videos of three cars drifting soon.

Drifted with maku_gx and xenogears.

Xenogears = FC (DS2)
Me = S15 (DFP)
Maku_gx = FD (DFP)

Trail Mountain.

We tried to keep this order, FC, S15, FD and it turned out real well. I wish I could have captured the drifts because all three of us were drifting back to back, a site to see.

hey, me and another friend are usually drifting on xlink... our xlink kai names are

Embblaster (my friend)

were pretty decent i guess.. weve been drifting for a while, but we sorta just stayed on the downlow.
