Socom is just your average "good-game" some people think. But to me it is a little bit more. I've always wanted to be a Navy Seal ever since I was about 9 years old. So playing a deeply involving game about one is almost like heaven. I've blown quite a few weekends already just playing Socom and I don't really regret it that much. I have no complaints about the game as of yet. If you don't have Socom or a Network adapter, get on it. It's well worth the money.

I heard from reviews that its not so great, so im not gonna waste my time on that yet. No game has convinced me yet that i need PS2 online, so im not gonna buy it.

Playstation Magazine[OPM] rated it 5 of 5. If I were a tester I would give it the highest possible mark as well. Don't listen to reviews that speak badly about this game, because they're all wrong. that was my rant for the day.

the official PS magazine rated it perfect huh? I wonder why? maybe its cause they ARE sony and are trying to push PS2 online, if they rated it bad no one would have bout it. thats called a Bias review and if i wanna know the truth i will go to companies who are in no way affiliated with sony and they will give you a real review.

I don't know where you go for reviews, but any I have seen have been very good. It's an excellent game, but there aren't enough hours in the day so I rarely play it anymore.
The only thing I really play online is Battlefield 1942 anymore. And I guess a little Warcraft III.

I try to play it daily. It's a damn good game. Online is all I play now, but single player is excellent too. What is your screen name?
I'm -CC- Skylined.
