Anyone else really disappointed in the Prize cars?

I searched to see if i could find anything on this topic but i had no luck. I have played all of the past GT games and i feel that in GT% the prize cars seem to be very lame. i don't usually use a car list when i play the game so i like to be surprised when i get a car. After beating almost all of A-spec and b-spec with the exception of the large endurance races. After i beat the 4 hour roadster race at Tsukuba and all i received was a 1968 P.O.S. mazda I decided to look at a prize car list on the internet. Withe the exception of maybe 3 or 4 i feel that the prize cars are real let downs.

I remember back on GT3 the first enduro you could either win a renault cup car, corvette c5r, ford falcon race car, or formula gt. And i just looked back at that prize list, it is so much better.

Any on else feel this way? Please redirect me if this is already covered or in th wrong place.
 
yes, you're right.
Only a handfull of prize cars are worth it.
GT4 prize cars were somewhat better (and winnable more than once)
As for endurances: prize cars are prett good from Indy500 onwards.
 
I don't bother with any of the prize cars really.

I sell them and continue to save up for useful ones.
