Anyone else REALLY wanting a new Modnation Racers for the PS4?!?!PS4

I honestly had great times with MNR for the PS3. I loved making Ferraris with lawnmower engines (closest sound u could get to exotics lol) and making Ayrton Senna and The Stig and Schumacher and even randoms like Austin Powers lol. I thought it was a fantastic little game and the only things I hated about it were the loading times and how limited u were on customization of the karts.

but with that being said I thought its one of the best games on the PS3 and I'm honestly craving a Modnation Racers 2 for the PS4.

anyone else like this game?
 
Yeah, I'd love to see another one. One of my main gripes with the game was the insane load times but I think with it being on the PS4 that wouldn't be an issue anymore. If you haven;t played LittleBigPlanet Karting you might want to try it out, it is pretty damn fun and the creators of ModNation helped create it.
 
Modnation Racers still is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated games to ever be released, and in fact it's actually in my top 10 favorite games of all time. I actually still play it from time to time because the community is still actually really active. Any issues with it (load times, etc.) didn't really detract much from the core gameplay, and oh boy was the core gameplay fun... I still have loads of ideas for Modnation Racers 2, if it ever gets released.

LittleBigPlanet Karting though... egh. I got it yesterday with my free trial of PS+ and was kinda disappointed. It's still a good, solid game, but I kinda miss a lot of things that made MNR great... I miss stuff like the boost bar system, and I'm not a huge fan of the LBP style. The LBP series holds the dubious honor of being the only thing in existence that makes me want to mute Stephen Fry for a bit.

I'm not planning to get a PS4 right now, but if they announced MNR2 that was a combination of the MNR style and gameplay with the added features from LBPK, I may very well see if I can save up for one. (Yes, I would literally buy an entire PS4 just for MNR2. That's how much I loved the original.)
 
I did not enjoy LBP:K at all either, and I am a huge fan of both MNR and LBP. It just seemed so lifeless and confused, I'd argue the community made a better karting game on LBP2.
 
I actually really enjoyed LittleBigPlanet: Karting, especially the track creation. There were a lot of people that made awesome re-creations of Mario Kart tracks. My biggest complaint about the game is it felt kind of slow. It would have been much more enjoyable if the Karts were faster.

I have been wanting MNR2 since the first ModNation Racers came out. Now that the PS4 is here, it would be the perfect time to create MNR2. Just imagine the creation possibilities the PS4 would bring.

Let's make ModNation Racers 2 happen!

i doubt a petition is needed bro. I'm sure they'll bring back either a modnation or a crash bandikoot or maybe even a mix of both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
 
I doubt that a petition is needed as well. To put it this way, I am actually stunned at Sony for not announcing Mod Nation Racers 2 at E3, and I didn't even play the first one.
