I play alot of BSpec. Or I should say my PS3 plays a lot of BSpec hehe. Therefore ive noticed that how very very fast they start declining. I've had several start declining before 50 wins. I do a lot of the higher enduros to level em up fast. I thought that's why they died fast. But I did another one and fed him nothing higher than DCC and....same result.

If the name selection wasn't so ridiculously time consuming to find a decent name it probably wouldn't be such a bother. I think it was a user on here named wrecku that had a bob approaching 1000 wins with no declining. With all the different permutations of bobs I've tried iv never gotten one over 200 wins before decline. Plus u get attached to some of the better bobs only to lose them 2-3 weeks in if you are an excessive BSpec-er like me. Don't have as much time to play ASpec.

Shouldn't be the same result. They should decline faster with running the DCC than with doing long enduros. Decline comes with the number of days, and one race counts as a day, for every single one of your drivers you haven't put online, that is, not just the one racing.

Yeah, it's hard to find a good name, but I've learned to settle for an "ok" name. There's no point spending hours cycling through names if you end up retiring the driver in the end. What were these hours cycling names for?

wrecku probably put his drivers online. As soon as you put them online, they no longer advance their career, and they never actually decline. I've had drivers with thousands of races who hadn't started to decline yet. But as soon as you take them back offline, they're back in the cycle of "aging", whether they're being raced or not.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do. Well, except stop playing offline B-Spec and get into Remote Racing exclusively.

Thanks for the info. I never really got why and how they declined. Id not use one for a week or two and he dies lol. Now I understand it better thanks to your post. Looks like a lost cause to save my Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber. Ive been settling for ok names as well after it took me 2 1/2 hours to get the Lewis Hamilton. Will never do that again.

Would be nice if they could do away with the aging and/or just give us the ability to type in the name of our choice. I dont mind if they left the initial driver attributes the way it is.

No internets for me at my apt for the moment so no remote for me.
