Has anyone written any programs for their TI-83+, or other TI graphing calulators out there? I have written some nice ones. My favorite is a Binary converter. It can translate number into binary, any number up to 65535! (16bits!) :eek It was the longest program I've written, I believ it is something along the lines of 1.8kb. It consists of 2 programs, if I could edit the program on the computer, I would make it one program.

Anyway, when this school year starts, I will begin work on a slot machine program. A big endeavor. I need to come up with the odds and crap and figure out a way to make a "language" of sorts so It can pay out different amounts to different outcomes.

(btw, none of these programs are ASM, I don't know ASM...)

No one? I know I am not the only one....

Dude, how did you manage to make a binary converter 1.8 Kb? I wrote an all purpose equation solver once, except I accidentally cleared RAM and deleted it. I spent like a day writing that one, so it was very upsetting. Your title is nonsenical. I'm not sure what you meant, but it wasn't affluent. Affluent means financially well off, or just abundance in general.

whoops, the word I was looking for was fluent.... i suck at english...

Anyway, that Binary program is actually even smaller... it's actually closer to 1KB, unless 990 is in KB, so it is actually almost 1MB, but My calculator probably doesn't even have that much memory...

I'm pretty fluent in calculator programming. My advice for the slot machine would be to use the randInt() function to determine what each slot will produce (or some function involving that function).

I was planning on it.

Unfortuantely, this year has been very hectic. Whenever I have free time in class, I'm usually doing homework for another class. Stupid AP Calculus and AP Chemistry. 👎 I'm stupid for taking both of them. Oh, well. Im dropping AP Chemistry at the end of the semester, along with half of the class.

I'm taking AP Chem and AP Government (wonder I'm not burnt out), so I know where you're coming from. I could give you the script to my RPG Program that I'm making, but right now it's only 1/16 done and already it's the biggest program I have.

I have been programming long enough on the TI calculators to create 1&2 player Tic Tac Toe with AI that cannot lose to anyone (although it can still tie).
