Its a really cool area.
But coming from new hampshire, you might think it is a little weird. Well, the people mostly. I, myself, am from hopkinton, NH and i think the people here are very different. Its not a bad thing. Infact, most of the people are extremely friendly.
Its laid back, if you will. Backwards.
Its starting to develop immensely around here though. Clubs and bars are pretty common, whereas there werent any about 10 years ago.
Tips and info: If you have a slammed jetta, youre 🤬. My friend has a slammed GTI, and he cant drive the thing over 35MPH.
Avoid river road like the plague if you like your car.
Sunday river and Sugarloaf are amazing. If you ski, you will find yourself with a season pass there, no matter how much it costs.
Portland house of pizza is the best pizza place ever.
Panera bread's sandwiches are made by jesus himself.
The car scene over here is pretty small. Mostly super civics putting down a claimed 350WHP.
It doesnt snow. Ever.
