Anyone Had this Problem

So I was in an online lobby just few minutes ago. Was in it for about 30 minutes, The host changed the track from Sarthe 09 to route x. No problem yet. Then 5 minutes he changes track regulations and that when it kicked me of the game back to the ps3 xmb. Anyone else had that problem. Iv never had this before ever on any game i played.
 
I've seen people do this to reset rooms(switch tracks then go back) .. And the sudden "burst" of Internet traffic cause some people to disconnect, I see this happen to people in rooms commonly.
 
I've never been "kicked back" to the XMB, but going from track A to B, to A can be used to clear the fastest times.
