hey i could really do with someone who has this car for a speed run, im trying to get my car to 300 ish and i cant find anyone with anything faster than the veyron, which i can beat. any help?

I thought I had a good chance at getting the F2007 after completing the B-Spec endurance series but to my horror I was awarded another Formula GT car

When I cashed my level 24 ticket I saw this red car driving toward me from the dark and I wondered if it was the F10 or F2007....... The cruel joke was that it was a "ferrari red" FGT car

I wish I'd have backed up my GT5 before cashing that ticket in................... I hate the thoight of dropping 12.5mil for that car.........

What determines what car you get...I was lucky and got the f2007, using that in the seasonal event was the most fun. Someone let me borrow the 2010 and I didn't like that.

I think it's random. I wish GT5 was a little smarter and would have the sense to give me a car that I didn't already have. No reason for me to have 2 FGT cars. What I hate is that it seems almost everyone was getting one of the Ferrari's. I just happened to be the unlucky one that got a 5 million dollar FGT instead of a 10-12million Ferrari.

They're not really F1 races, it's Formula Gran Turismo.

You can only use the Ferarri F1 cars in the specially designed seasonals.

I suspect this may have been a condition for their inclusion in the game.

When you get a ticket, backup your save so if you don't get the car you want you can try again. I have the F2007 as well as the F10, an FGT, four X2010s and so on. The F2007 and F10 pass 300 km/h without much issue.

There's other better choices than the F1 2007 for speed runs. While it is fast, it's not got tremendous top end. It's that it get's there fast, and has such kick butt aero that it sticks like glue. Try the Minolta instead.
Another problem is that if you use the F1, everyone has to as well. They can't be used against anything else but themselves, anywhere. Even in practice mode you can only either go solo, or against other F1's.

The FGT can be used in any race that allows unlimited cars. You can enter an FGT car against LMP or GT1 cars or any car for that matter.

I haven't driven the F1 cars but I can tell you the FGT cars are tricky to handle. Loads of HP with low weight can lead to a very tail happy car. I can't drive them very well and have trouble with the FGT championship races. From everything I've read the FGT cars don't have nearly the grip that the Ferrari F1 cars do.
