I wondered if GTP could/should have something like a buddy system whereby you nominate one or two people who you have external contact with who can verfiy whether or not you're OK, just like giving your next of kin details to your employers? It might not work, but it could be something as simple as putting a couple of GTP usernames in your profile as your buddies so that other people can see who to contact in the event of your disappearance from GTP? It would be entirely voluntary, of course, since not everyone is a daily or regular user of GTP, but it would be good to know that somebody is looking out for you...

I don't really have any contact with him outside gtp, so I don't know why he hasn't visited the boards recently.
But i have to admit that i noticed too after reading mistax's story

i'm talking with him now via msn and the reason is that he spends less time on the pc.
