I cant do them all. I just have all golds on licenses A B and IA. I can get some on IB, none on S and I have half of them on R. I just have a imperfect way driving. There is no way I could make a really good turn twice. U know, I hate when I am making a test and suddenly I make a best turn but I screw it on the later turn. It is like, for example on the first test of IB, the Mitsu Evo Rally on Tokyo. The first course, once , JUST ONCE I got to make it with over 96mph, now I cant do it. Any tips to gain concentration? And to pass all golds on licenses.

Do you need all golds to get 100% ??

If not, how many do you need?

I'm at 85% right now, with all licenses but only 7 golds....

I have all gold license's (without cheating :D)

And no you dont need gold to get 100% complete.

when u get all golds on super license u get comcept viper right ? well there anyway to get it without gettin gold on super ?

I've got either silver or gold in all except most of the rally and special license categories - there's two silvers in Special, and a gold and a silver in the rally. All with the Logitech wheel!

Ah - who am I kidding? I suck at the licenses.

All golds!!! are you kidding, I pass, I race, I smile about it. I have only beaten three of the Time Trials. Patience is not my long suit.
I think I have about 4 or 5 golds and 4 or 5 silvers.
I can pass them all with 1 or 2 tries. By the 4th or 5th try I'm starting to get bored with them.

I am posting to say that I passed that damn test and I got the golds, I am on my way to get all golds on IA. It is always good to let out ur frustration and think what everyone thinks. I am sure I'll be here again, when completing all golds on S.

Concerning All Golds:
Please, take a look in the Goldjunkies Hangout in the forum at
hgt.themaille.com (often referred to as the House of GT).
Or visit www.goldjunkies.com.
If you understood german, there is a License Test section at www.granturismo.de, together with a database, where you can see many goldtimes.
Other boards worth to mention are www.racing-line.org, including a DB and a forum too.
Hope, that was helpful.

BTW, I have all gold's in all three Versions of GT and I am not a very talented driver. It only takes time and patience. And it is great fun, exspecially the S-Licenses.

Dudes, I get by with bronze. It's not that I suck at the game, my driving style and the game's driving style tend to confict a little :sly:

Yes, there is another way, go do the GT All Stars in Professional league and do the traditional get the car you want trick.

I have managed all golds. unbearably rough, and a few less hairs on my head.

The gold license and TT #10 are without a doubt the toughest parts of the game.

The first two trips through the game I did what I could to pass the tests. To quote " I pass, I race, I smile about it." Which was my first theory. This time through, I decided to knock out all Golds, and Arcade mode before I started the Simulation section.

First i just get what i can for the licenses. Then i go back and try and get golds later in the game. :) I find doing that a bit easyer then trying to get all golds from the start.

In addition to all Super License golds, is also awarded for a series win for Professional/GT All Stars (1 of 4).

It's a very versatile car, and can win many races unmodified. It's even qualified for normal car races like Endurance/Trial Mountain Endurance and Professional/Polyphony Digital Cup... and easily beats the field. On my 2nd game save (my "perfect" save), it currently has the most miles for any of my vehicles... still unmodified (it comes with medium racing tires).

It has a very wide gear setting, but is great to drive. I don't think I'll be using it anymore to complete the game, but we'll see...

I got all golds for all licenses for my 2nd game save, USA version(no gameshark, etc.). My first game has like 2 or 3 total license golds, with most of the rest bronze.

It took me about 3 weeks real life to get all golds, the toughest (for me) being R8 and S2. The key for me was emulating the demo runs...

I would run the replays and use the cockpit view to see/hear the following things:
- exit/enter mph for turns
- landmarks for brakepoints
- landmarks for steering (entering/exiting turns)
- listening for rev rates into/out of turns (to see whether I needed to press L2 or not)

It was not easy, but it would've taken me AT LEAST twice as long to get all golds on one of the other versions. I did it using the dualshock 2 that came with the console, mostly using the joystick.

Good luck to all goin for the gold, great job to all who have, and good effort to all who tried!

Have a great drive!
