Not happening officially yet, but I just wrote this up and wanted to know how many people are interested in it. If you are interested please post in the thread, I will make a list and we can figure out race times/dates. Also accepting any ideas/changes.

GT5 Elite Racing League Info, Rules, and Restrictions

Basic Info

Racers will start off as 12 (or fewer if not enough interest). After each race, anyone that doesn’t finish by the timers end will be DQ’d. The timer will be set to 60 seconds.

1st place - 10 points
2nd place - 8 points
3rd place - 6 points
4th place - 4 points
5th place - 2 points
6th place or lower - No points

After the 5 races are over, the points will be added up.

1st place - X1/Ferrari F1/Random LMP (Choose prize)
2nd place - Choose from 2 options 1st place didn’t pick
3rd place - Gets the car 1st and 2nd didn’t pick

Rules

- All assists are OFF
- False start penalty is on
- Penalty is strong
- Damage is mild
- Grip reduction is real

If you break a rule once, it’s a warning. The second time, you could be DQ’d at the hosts discretion. A third time is a guaranteed DQ.

1. If you go off the track, do not merge into oncoming racers.

2. No ramming, or using other cars as a wall to turn.

3. If someone is obviously much faster then you, do not block them from passing. You have the right to follow your racing line, but no intentional swerving to block a pass from a faster car.

4. Follow the individual rules for each class/race.

I'm in Eastern time, the dates were sort of just there as a filler, they can be changed if people can't make them.
