Im probably getting this wrong im not exactly sure what metal is, but this is the sort of stuff I find in the Metal section of HMV so to you if it isnt.
Try Drowning Pool - Bodies (you mustve heard this),Sinner, Tear Away, The Game

Static X - Im with stupid, push it, bled for days, love dump, wisconsin death trip, black and white

Godsmack - Bad religion, awake, get up get out, I stand alone (arrr cant remember anymore godsmack stuff)

Soil - Breaking me down, halo, need to feel, wide open, understanding me, unreal, inside, two skins, the one

How about System of a down??
Try deer dance, prison song, know, suite-pee, spiders, atwa, snowblind (black sabbath cover), science, toxcity, psycho, aerials, sugar, chop suey, bounce, qubert

lol....i knwo it all has guitar but i want ALOT of it i dont want some guitar and alot of drums i want something with guitar in it like The Middle by Jimmy Eat World or like the guitar in Kryptonite by Three Doors Down.

Rammstein is Industrial, and i wouldn't consider calling Metallica metal either. Not the newest albums anyway. (Load-->)

I like metallica's newer albums, but thats because i started with the new albums and worked my way back to the old albums...

still the old albums are the best, with the exception of s&m

I didn't mention them, because it seems that jubula is just started getting into metal, and i didn't want to scare him off - I think you should have been listening to metal for a long time before you even begin to like deathmaetal. (like CannibalCorpse.)

Holy **** man, I love that song. Thats exactly my type of music. I have listened to it 5 times now. :thumbsup:
Im sure a lot of people will not like it though. I think music like that is almost like an aquired taste.

ok, good metal Rammstein is very good, not quite as nasty and heavy as slipknot Rammstein are a unique band which are hard core.
Though fear factory and Drowning pool are also a good selection.

Recommended metal:

Opeth, specifically the album Still Life
Jag Panzer, I like Mechanized Warfare
Queensryche, Operation: Mindcrime. Don't bother with anything but this one though.
King Diamond, Abigail and Them are great albums
Megadeth, anything before Appetite for Destruction is good.

Here and there I also like Coroner, Slayer, Sepultura and stuff. Also, if you're just looking for great guitar work, you could try about anyting Yngwie Malmsteen, or find some Joe Satriani. I'm particularly fond of Flying in a Blue Dream or Surfing with the Alien. Crimson Glory's Transcendence is worth mentioning as well.
