I know it's Madcatz, and I've always hated them, however I've heard two people say that they cannot believe that Madcatz made something worth having. I cannot justify paying out around $500 for a Fanatec wheel/accessories at the moment with the way the economy is. That and the Wife would shoot me. I've had a DFGT since GT5 Prologue came out and it has served me very well. I just haven't picked up Forza4 yet because I refuse to play without a wheel. It's killing me lol.

If anyone could give me some info, and maybe even how it compares to a DFGT that would be great. Otherwise, it could be 6 months before I can get a Fanatec.

The Logitech G27 is your best bet. It is a bit spendy but its cheaper than a fanatec and the positive reviews are overwhelming. I would never buy anything madcatz especially since the wheel is not well known (there is probably a reason no one knows about it) and they have to advertise it with words like "force feedback" to make it sound better because its probably a bad wheel.

G27 is PS3 only right? I'm looking for something so I can play Forza4.👍

Fanatec has a CSR bundle. CSR wheel and pedals for $299. PS3, PC, and XBOX compatible.

Thats without the stand and/or table clamp right? Or am I wrong? I need to go check it out....
Edit:
Never mind, it has table clamps. Are these reports of problems with their wheels few and far between? I'm sure they are, but just curious. Also, how long does it take shipping?

thanks for answer. I hadn't realized they came out with that bundle. I'm excited now.

Double post what ever. @OP You should check out what Schwartz linked and use it while you save up for a Fanatec. 💡

Wow, was about to order the fanatec bundle. Realized it's 300 euros which is just a hair over $400. Woe is me =(. It we weren't about to move from Ohio to Oregon, buying a new house there, hiring movers, putting a buttload of stuff in storage, and renting a smaller U-Haul trailer for essentials, I wouldn't think twice about dropping $600 on a Fanatec + Accessories.

Researched that XCM-F1 thing, it's about what you would expect really.

I think that Fanatec's prices are 300 euros = 300 dollars = 300 pounds, so I don't know where you get 400 from. lol
Fanatec's standard table clamp is horrible, the wheel is great though.

Inside sim racing reveiwed that thing, and it didn't sound good. Force feedback doesn't even work with it, and it seems like they said there was input lag. Don't get that, save and get the cheapest fanatec wheel you can.
That is if this wheel you linked insn't any good. I didn't know anyone but Fanatec made a FF wheel for the 360. I'm surprised no one lese has mentioned this wheel before. Maybe it's a decent wheel.

Then it sounds like the europeans are getting ripped of...300Euros is not 300 dollars so thats weird if they are priced the same.

No way man! Save your money. The only reputable wheels are Logitech's and Fanatechs + the many mods of those wheels.

Google man, everyone is doing it.

Yeah, found out that 360 i posted only has like 280 degrees of turning. Better to wait than buy something that comes up short.

That may be for the controller not for compatible wheels.

Don't forget Thrustmaster has a wheel in the entry level now.

Not realy. The 300Euro includes VAT, the 300USD does not include taxes.
