I got a buddy that has a z06 the one from the norm dealership hasnt used any weight red. or added wheels,paint or wings.....says car does 277 mph on daytona.Not 100% sure myself but i know it keeps up with my minolta and has passed it
 
What's the question?
 
Is it possible to get a z06 that fast?
 
With drafting it's possible.
 
There's only about, what, 150hp difference between the two? The Minolta is lighter, but the Vette has less downforce. I don't see why the Vette couldn't stay with the Minolta as long as they stay in the draft.
 
This is with no draft with draft he says hes pushing 180 to 185 mph
 
So you say that his Vette passed your Minolta and now you ask if it is possible?

But whatever, without draft there are not many road cars that can keep up with the Minolta. Only 2 I can think of right now are maybe a maxed Viper ACR and the Bugatti.
 
Sorry meant 280-285 mph and by is it possible inmean has anyone else encountered somthing like this ive tried just about everything on my z06 and it doesnt come close to that

In the draft I've had my less than 1000 hp Caddy Cien over 525 km/h which is 325+ mph. I don't see why a Vette or any other 900+hp car couldn't do 285 + mph.
