Anyone know DXRacer?

I found a thread in the InsideSimRacing forums about a fellow who bought a wheelstand from DXRacer. And apparently, it's more or less the same stand GT Omega makes. The only difference is that DXRacer ships here in the US, so there's no shipping costs. GT Omega, while at base price $130 is pretty much on par with DXRacer's stand's base price with $150, GT Omega ships from the UK, rocketing the price to $210 or so. While the fellow who bought it did review it & gave some good feedback on it, I'm still not sure about the guys from DXRacer.
 
I have a set of DXRacer office/gaming chairs and I love them. The quality of their products is great. Currently use my DXRacer with a Wheel Stand Pro and DFGT with no issues. I have been thinking of getting a G27 and either a DXRacer or Obutto racing cockpit.
 
The problem with this setup, like a few I've seen, is you can't move the pedals and wheel independently, which is why I still have my Playseat. Some of us have longer legs and like the wheel a little closer. Otherwise a nice looking product.

I didn't think the movement in the playseat effected my racing until I converted mine. Here is a better look at what the kit includes and how easy it is to convert. You don't even need a grinder like this guy did. Anyone looking to get rid of the center post of their playseat this is WAY cheaper than a new rig and is sturdy as all get out.

The center post is fine it's never been in the way, I'm actually pretty pleased with my Playseat now that I separated the pedals a little bit.

I didn't have an issue with the center post either. It is when I sent my CSW in for repair and went back to using my G27 I noticed an issue. I always thought the G27 was better at the small ffb detail than the CSW. When I got my wheel back before mounting it on my rig I took it to a friends so he could try it on his rig. That's when I seen the issue with my playseat, because of the added weight of the CSW a lot of the subtle details are being lost in the center post. Also catching slides was so much easier because of the extra stability at the wheel. After upgrading I realize that the CSW is to heavy for the center post.

I have pretty long legs as well. That's partially why I want to get a wheel stand. Something like the Playseat can't work because I need a portable solution.

If you have a seat with working sliders, center post is not that big of a deal.
I used a center post-design wheel stand with a car seat for years before I built my rig.
Getting in and out is a piece of cake by just sliding the seat back.

That being said, static seat and center post - don't go there if you can.
Contortion is the name of the game with that kind of configuration.
 
I have a DXRacer cockpit setup I bought a around 4 years ago now. It's actually been really good, has a solid wheel mouting platform from 24mm MDF, a good quality seat and rigid tube steel body. Would highly recommend it anytime and am very happy with it.
