Anyone know if the driving force gt shifter knob can be removed/replaced

I want to put in a different shifter knob on it but i don't know if the shifter knob can be taken off or if the stick part is thick enough for the new shifter knob.
Heres the shifter in mind.

i just tryed the allen bolts on the knob and they are moulded plastic so there fore fake,
you could try taking the unit apart and seeing if it can be replaced or lob the knob off with a saw and fix the new one to the stem

you could try drilling a small hole into the back of the knob to see weither it is solid plastic or hollow, if its solid you might be able to grind down the knob so its an extension of the shaft giving you a better oppertunity for fixing the new one
