Anyone know the value of this?

Back '99 as Christmas present, this was given to me from my father when he went to Japan. As of recently, I found it again among my other crap from that era & wondered if it was actually worth anything seeing as everything else Pokemon is pretty much worthless.

BUT, I have found that Google seems to draw absolutely nothing from it & there's nothing like it on EBay. So, I'm curious as to if anyone on here may have seen this or know what it's worth.

If need be, I can post the back of it so that anyone who can understand Japanese can translate, so that I may have more clues.
 
No idea, but you could put it on eBay with a low starting bid and an outrageous reserve, see what happens. You pay extra listing fee with the reserve, but you could call it an appraisal fee.
 
I really hope that the answer is zero. But I'm afraid it won't be.
 
There are still cards that trade for quite a bit actually. Especially now that a lot of the old ones are out of production. I wouldn't doubt some American collector would pay quite a bit for those coin things because they're legit JDM stuff. Pretty cool, actually.

I sold a rare Yugioh card for 30 dollars towards my friend. Though the badges look like a anniversary thing for Silver and Gold. Ask your dad where he got it from.
 
Take it to a comic book shop, whatever the guy offers you for it, mark it up about 70% and that's approx what he'd try and sell it for.
 
can you get a picture of the 'badge'? I can read the "2000", but not much else. I can have a look on the auction sites over here (Japan) and let you know if is worth anything back on this side of the pond.

I think that you could read the characters on the bottom left. Though I would think its something special but not too special with the release of Pokemon Silver/Gold.

The badge with 2000 on it says Pocket Monsters Millennium Badge.

And I would greatly appreciate that. Will also try Joey's advice. 👍
