Genuine Times crossword puzzle anyone know the answer.

Clue.
H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O

Answer.
_ _ _ _ _.

5 letters.

Just throwing it out for fun. TBH I never got the answer till I was told it.
One for the brainbox's of the forum.

Person? Place? or Thing? :dopey:

Hmm a clue this early.

The Times newspaper is quite a highbrow newspaper, for business men and Judges. Lol.

Cryptic clues come out in our local rags Like the Sun and Daily sport etc.

I was trying to keep it as intended sorry.

BTW I read the Sun. Lol.

Ohhh, I thought you were talking about NY Times crossword puzzles, which are fantastic.

I have no idea what you posted is though...

I do like crosswords, as it happens

My brother is much better at them than I am though. He does a Times one every day, usually while directing air traffic.

I'm more "quick crossword whilst in a council van" myself.:)

Nice! Gave it a shot. Spagetti, we don't get the times in the states, atleast not the printed version. Just thought I'd take a wack at it, my mind was moreso trending towards some sort of sequence. Abstract thought doesn't come as easily. lol

Please remind me to never fly to the airport that your brother works at.

Crosswords, pffft. Way overrated, it takes real skill to do word searches. Particularly french word searches, having to find des, le, la, l', heck even les, before the word you need, that's challenging. But a lot more fun, merci.

Haha word searches are for babies. I do the newspaper crosswords at work every day and pass off the word searches to the high school kids who work for me. My grandma got me hooked on crosswords when I was a little kid, I'm glad she did, I really feel that it expands my vocabulary.

Over here, Hall of Famer Mel Ott is probably the most common crossword puzzle answer ever.

French letters are hardcore ( see what I did there ).
Although when I feel a bit non conformist or general all around bad boy I have been known to crack out the odd dot to dot.

I just wrote that back there because I was crossworded to death as a kid, to the point where I absolutely despise them. I live in a small town, and the local paper prints only the small crosswords, sudokos and 10 word wordsearches. Occasionally we'll get the Windsor or Toronto paper, which in fact are the only crosswords I'll ever do. Word jumble is fun too. Here I'll give a few easy ones: rotdco, dlobo, prucrarhsegs, lricorenote
