Anyone miss these silhouette rewards from GT3?

The GT6 single car rewards are nice and a step closer to the GT3 reward system. However, one of my favorite parts of the GT series BY FAR was the anticipation of not knowing what your reward car would be at the end of the events. These silhouette prize screens produced some of the most rewarding, epic moments for me in GT3. Especially when 4 cars were spinning.

The top event that stuck out for me was the Mercedes event and at the end after all the hard work with that series, I won the CLK Mercedes Touring car. I literally jumped up and down and yelled in excitement.

I couldn't find the Mercedes prize car video but this is exactly what I am talking about. So exciting seeing these prize spin before revealing the true prize . THAT is what got me severely hooked on the series. :)




Any specific moments like this that stick out for you? Or anything similar you want for GT7?

I certainly miss them, enough to get into a few arguments about them awhile back. Prize systems these days aren't as fun. Isn't Forza 6 doing this now though?
 
It would definitely add some replay value to the game. Trying to get all the prize cars keeps the single player interesting.

Yes that's actually exactly why I brought this up. The FH2 and F6 wheel spins reminded me 100% of this wonderful reward system from GT3.

If any mod thinks this topic is better in the GT7 section, feel free to move it there. It is not meant to start any flame war at all.
 
And the special colour cars. They should have special colours which you can win but you don't get the paint chip. Like if anybody remembers the Blue/purple NSX that you won in GT3 - We need that back. :/
 
I think this would be better in the GT7 forum. Its a bit too late for GT6 so maybe an idea like this could help influence GT7.

Maybe in the GT7 suggestions forum?
 
This is kindof like the ticket 1000s in gt5. Because you never know what you get from a ticket 1000.
