Anyone play Forza 4 with a Logitech G27?

I have a g27 that I bought specifically for GT5, was curious if anyone here has used it on their xbox with an adapter of course. How does it feel when driving? Is it good?

Where and what kind of adapter is it that will make the g27 function on the xbox? Do you get full compatbility to use the clutch and H pattern gear shifter and the paddle shifters? Also are you able to customize the buttons on the wheel to use with Forza?

I was aiming for the very same thing. You could use the XCM F1 converter but I beleive it offers no FFB plus to make this work you would need to purchase a wired 360 controller - not just the type of play/charge kit. Think the converter is around £50 - £60 & can be found on ebay. Using this setup without FFB is a bit pointless especially since you would have been used to using your G27 on games with FFB.

I have since bought a Fanatec GT2 with gear shifter set along with an adaptor cable so these can be used with my G27 pedals. All plug & play so now a happy person.

Sell your G27 and but a fanatec CSR, you will not regret it

My G27 collects dust in a box. Don't do it to yourself buddy. I've seen the vids and besides the FFB it just doesn't look right at all. Like everyone says, spend the dough on the Fanatec. Sell the G if you can.

Hey guys,

I'm also using a Fanatec CSR... do I have a wrong setup, or does it only provide 90° steering angle? At least in cockpit-mode the in-game-wheel doesn't move further...

Thanks

Bug :)

It's cockpit thing not the wheel. If you set your wheel to 900 deg. it will work normally

That's just a FM4 problem. The wheel is 900 degrees if you set it to that, it just does not show it on the onscreen wheel.

I thought about getting the XCM a long time ago, but figured it would be kinda of a waste of money since the wheel doesn't work properly with it.

I just stick with the controller and I'm happy. I would like to get a csr, but I don't see that happening soon.
