Anyone use or used the GT Omega Steering Wheel stand?

I've been thinking about getting a cockpit/simulator, but as the room isn't finished and won't be for about 6 months, add that with the price of £1700-£2000 to get everything how I want (wheel, Lcd, Cockpit/simulator etc) it's a bit expensive right now, so I figured a wheel stand would be the next best thing.

The GT Omega Steering wheel stand, it look's a nice stand, not a bad price etc, just wonderd if anyone here uses/has used that stand? If so what are your thoughts on it? Thanks!
 
I have one, i love it. I've got a Fanatec CSR mounted to it, very stable. Its the only stand that i could find in the £100 price range that doesn't have a center post.
