I have been using the MS wireless wheel with Forza 2 (trying is more like it). I have used the wheel with every other applicable game, and have had no trouble. It seems the problem may lie in my settings. Is there anything that I should be doing to set up the wheel correctly in the Forza 2 menu? It seems I am not getting full steering lock. I am understeering in incredibly unrealistic situations. Something is off.

I have a wired Logitec one, And I have rediculous amounts of oversteer. Odd. It could just be your driving style, I don't know. attach the wheel and try to changfe the set up.

It's not my driving style. I have been using wheels for years, and have played through Forza 2 with the controller with no problem.

It's not the wheel itself, as it works flawlessly with PGR3/PGR4.

I'm guessing you have the Axial Feadback Logitec wheel? DriveFX, or something like that? I have been wondering what people think of the Axial feadback compared to the true Force feadback. I have heard some say it is superior. Any thoughts?

As for everyone else with the MS wireless wheel. Is there any setting that any of you prefer for Forza 2 (Advanced settings menu)? That would probably help in pushing me in the right direction.

I haven't put a few hours of time into figuring this out, so bear with me. I have just tinkered a bit, so far. I will devote more time to experimenting with the settings this Monday. Until then, I would like to hear what other wheel users have their settings programed to, so I can get a better idea as to why I seem to have less than full steering range with my current setup.

I hadn't ventured over there yet. I was hoping for a quick reply here. However, when I have time I'll check it out. Thank you.

I think because this is predominantly and GT / PS site you may have less people playing Forza here... Even I don't venture into the 360 section much..

I use the very same wheel you do, but I can´t say I have any problems, except that I´m not used to the physics-engine, since I´ve mostly been playing GT.

What I can tell you though, is that Forza 2 requires a vey light-footed approach to everything, be it deceleration or acceleration, when compared to GT, where you can get away with alot more heavy feet. Simply try to drive with very light feet, and small inputs alltogether.

Well, thank you for that. I've sat down only about once or twice for a short time, so I'll give it another shot. BTW, what do you have your steering/accell/brakes set at. Not that it matters too much, but I'd love to give it a shot with someone's setup and see if it makes any difference at all.

Ok, I feel stupid.

The settings were custom made for use with the controller. I went in, restored everything back to Default, and now I'm good to go. Works like a charm.

Enjoying some Forza 2 , and my new Ferrari F430 Scuderia from the March DLC pack.
