As per the title is there anyone on here using the PTR load cell mod and integrated pedal extensions?

I am looking to upgrade my g27 pedals (with nixim mod already in) to a load cell system and its a choice between these and the AP Electrix mod.... The AP Electrix seems pretty hard to get hold of though...

Any thoughts?

Will be for PS3 use at the moment but in the future I'll probably move to a PC setup...

Cheers

Has anybody ever used this? Doubt I'll buy at $160, but maybe if they're really worth it.

I couldn't find much "real world" info on this. In the end I waited for the AP Electrix. My next move will be either a Perfect pedal or a custom hydraulic brake, for the time being though the AP Electrix is more than good enough.

ravey,

I noticed you're planning on moving on. Is this because the AP Electrix wears out? I watched the inside sim racing review, but I'd like to know your thoughts.

House, I've seen that idea as well. Not sure if I need to as yet.

Hi,

I may move on at some time in the future but for now I'm sticking with the AP electrix, it really is very very good for the money. As far as I know load cells do not last forever, I have no idea how long the one in the AP elecrix mod will last, but I hope Andy will supply replacements as and when needed....its a plug in part so should be simple to replace...

For me pedal extensions are a must have, especially with the AP electrix mod as you get a little more pedal travel and it makes the feel of the pedal even more realistic
