Anyone watching the Twitch Plays Pokemon event?

I've just started watching it tonight. It's pure chaos! I love it.

The idea behind it seems to be trying to get a community to work together and play a game all controlling the same character. It's currently 10 days, 21 hours in and it's crazy.

Great idea though.. Just has way too many people allowed to give input currently, at 64000!

Anyone else watching? What do you think?
 
I watched a little but I couldn't handle the fact he was running around like a slightly more decisive version of my girlfriend, not really getting anything done. In fact I'm pretty sure they released a Pokemon so maybe they're making the opposite of progress. Fun concept but I think Daylight is a better application for this sort of thing.
 
Awesome stuff man. Been watching it on and off since last Thursday. The whole thing is just so fascinating! Also, not all 64,000 watchers are necessarily playing. Maybe a good portion of it, but not all. I myself watch but don't play. Because that's what a scientist do, I observe and not tamper with the result. :p
